Hey, I’m Emma.

Is this the life I want to live? You have to ask the question quietly, in case anyone hears you and thinks you’re being far too audacious to even consider the thought that you might have a choice over how you spend your years here on Earth.

That’s how it all started for me, that whisper of a question as I took the long commute to work; exchanging the time with my precious, squishy, soft-skinned smiley baby, with grey meeting rooms, coffee breath and calendar invites.

I quit.

But not without a plan.

I have always had one hundred ideas a minute, and with that comes an often unrealistic expectation of what is possible; a helpful characteristic when you’re taking a leap in to the unknown. I decided to take all that I had learnt in my years working as a digital strategist, and believed I could do that on my own terms.

Since that point, four years ago, I have had the privilege of working with brands I love, whose ethos I am passionate about, and I have been able to contribute in a meaningful way.

Freelancing quickly became so much more than finding a way to be in control of my own time, it fulfilled me in a way that I never thought ‘work’ would.

And the best thing about it is that I’m now not just a digital strategist - I am a copywriter, a podcast host, an author, and have recently decided to further my education by embarking on my Coaching diploma so that I can be better-equipped to help others do the same. When the world of opportunity opens up you often find yourself exploring new skills, and finding even more that you love to do.

Learning to have a hopeful expectation of what is possible turned out to be a lifeline for me, not only in my career, but in my personal life too, it has helped me overcome many obstacles, and find a path through some of my darkest days.

If you find yourself asking the question, you’re in the right place. Kobey House is for people like you and I; the ambitious ones who are open to exploring that there might be more to you and for you.

Start by joining one of our monthly online gatherings, the ambition is infectious and I have no doubt it will open your mind to what can be possible for you, both personally and professionally.
